Exhaust pipes?

I'm getting my pipes redone this coming Monday and was gonna go with 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 mandrel bent from headers to rear l-tuned mufflers with x-pipe, no cats, no resonators.
What do you guys think about the 2 1/2 inch pipes. Is it gonna be too loud with little gains in hp or is it just perfect? I don't want it to be crazy loud with no gains in hp.

Will be getting it redyno as soon as the pipes are done.
