I took my wifes RX300 in for scheduled oil change and struck up a conversation with my sales rep. He claims the GS300 has a Turbo kit offered to the dealer from the Manufacture (Toyota) and will beat the stock GS430.

The warranty will not be affected and there is also talk among his co-workers that the IS400 may be in the states as a 04 model. Can anyone here confirm this information?

Is your rep saying that there is a turbo option available from Toyota Japan here in the states or was your rep talking about JDM v300 Aristos?

 

Boy, wouldn't that be great if the turbo is true. I'll believe it when I see it. BUT, once I see it, I'll probably have it.

 

Thats a good question, I will call him tomorrow and clarify asap.

 

But of course HIS dealership didn't have one or doesn't have any plans to install one of these mystery turbos anytime soon, right?
