Well, I have been trying to find an Intake better than the RMM.
I've seen a lot of post about the SRT Hi-Flow System w/ECU.
I kinda feel weird about splicing into my ECU wires ("sending false signals to the ecu to get different air/fuel ratios").
Right now, I'm back to the stock air box and K&N Filter- it feels almost the same.. I guess thats why i'm trying to figure out an alternative solution with the JET chip and a better <COLD> Intake. ANY Suggestion? Anyone?

Brendan,
I went to College in Auburn. I live in Montgomery.. Hey that rocks..

Nobody is willing to use his car as a lab rat, specially the ECU. You won't get like 30 horsepower gain just from the ECU if that's what you think of.

If JET would post some dyno on GS300/400/430 application, then I assume people are more willing to test it. Until then......

Talking

I understand exactly what you are saying.. Playing with the ECU is pretty scary...
Supposedly Rod Millen is working on an ECU and you know nothing they do is cheap.. well maybe the intake.. LOL

Anyways, thanks everyone for helping out..

I dunno if somebody is willing to give up their core ECU to "test" this out.

I was trying to see if I could dyno it, but after hearing it requires core ECU, I'm not sure anybody is willing to "participate" in the dyno event.

Yeah. You have to send in your whole ECU to JET. That means you can't drive your car at least for couple days. And a potential risk that the remap ECU is causing trouble and you can't start up the car.

With piggy-back, if you have trouble with it, just disconnect it and go back to stock ECU. Much safer alternative IMO.

Good point!
I think I'll go with the SRT Intake and ECU..
Now for the final component which we already discussed in the other Thread...

Thanks again...

what up you guys....

i've been in contact with jet performance fr quite some time and i finally got a "honest" answer rgdg upgrading our ECU fr gs300/400, etc.., well accrdg to this person, the best way to get most hp out of that ecu upgrade is to get all or some of the high performance parts first...ie: intake, cams/cam gears, headers, turbo, exhaust, or any particular parts which you think yr car will gain hp....then get the ecu upgrade. tht way, jet people can make more adjustsments on yr ecu to compensate with all the goodies you hv on yr car in order to gain more hp...!!!...get it??

in order words, if you only have an intake and exhaust then u decided to get the jet ecu, then later on, you purchased another high-performance part.....you wont get the most hp you need.
jet people will actually match and make adjustments.....thru out
the whole entire rpm band to make most of the hp!!!!

hope this help....

what I dont get is dont they need your car to do that, if there gonna get the best prefomance out of your car with the part you have, then they would need the whole car, I mean no 2 preformace products act the same, every product has a diffrent hp/tq gain, and every product has its peak at diffrent points and flows diffrently, wouldnt they need your car to get max preformance out of the products you have on your car?

If they really wanted to sell their product (and it really worked) don't you think they'd do a dyno test!? Or heck, don't you think they'd GIVE one to some CL user, even if only for a month or two, just to get the word out? Or perhaps give a 30 day money back guarantee.

Since they don't do any of this as far as I know I'm pretty skeptical.

Default Do not trust Jet ..

I have talked to many people that have got jets reprogramed cores and they actualy lost power and in some cases blew engine or could not get the engine to turn on.Some guy on camryman.org had to get a new stock ecu because the jet one was making his car realy undrivable.Take my advice go with somthing else.
