I've always wanted to go with the SRT intake and now have the money to consider it, but as shown in this picture here, the piping/filter is resting near the headlight.



That's where I mounted both my hi/low HID ballasts. Can anyone chime in and take a closer picture for me to show how much clearance there is under the filter? I would hate to have to relocate the ballasts as I believe the area I mounted them makes it look like the car came with them from the factory.

 

Nothing is nicer than the factory look IMO. I think Injen makes an intake in black that looks more factory and doesn't intrude so much into that area.

 

I have the weapon r and its not that bad, I had it tuned also when I got it installed with the apex i and it produced good results!

To the OP in respect to the original question...i have the Weapon R Secret Weapon short ram intake and its pretty cool. I feel like the dragon intake is a step down and its not to much of a price difference. u might as well go for the Secret Weapon one. it's supposed to giv more power. i like mine a lot. i wuld love a Cold Air Intake, like the one by Injen because it givs more low end power. but its all up to what u can afford. most ppl on here r running the SRT intake but i feel like its no point in spending all that extra money for the SRT unless ur a track car. its supposed to giv more power than any other intake but again that all depends on ur overall setup. here's the place where i ordered my Weapon R intake from and i been content ever since i got it.
