hey guys. im looking to buy some larger tips for my IS. i like the magnaflow 35177 angled/rolled and would like to know if any of you have them or something simular.

I think my MF tips are similar to Chris's.. I'm actually selling my entire exhaust which is custom MF if that interests you at all. But I'll find out exactly what tips I have. They are nice for sure.

 

are they slant tips or straight. i dont mind the ovals but i like the full round tips as well

 

Straight. The round tips won't fit into the bumper as well.

 

Tips seem like a good upgrade to improve exhaust visuals. What tips upgrade is recommended for regular/OEM rear valence?

 

the s2k will stick out wayy too much if you don't have the GFX rear lip. i'd go with the magnaflows.. might as well make a custom exhaust for cheap

Were the old tips cut off and new ones welded onto stock mufflers?

 

looks like replaced the stock mufflers as well. looking good too

 

yeah i replaced the stock mufflers with those and also went with those tips. I don't like big tips because they look to rice burner. These look good.

there's threads on here with the sounds of the mufflers. i also gained about 5hp with the magnaflow mufflers over stock. cheap way to build a cat back basically with great sound and great looks.
