THanks everyone for the help.

Much love.

Dont worry about punching yourself in the face. I was swapping my exhaust and thought I had put the bolt through to connect the two... well I didnt and let it go dropping the exhaust right on my face splitting my eyebrow open haha. I kept working on the car till the blood began pooling in my eye socket and getting sticky..

I cant wait to hear your car good **** on getting it done

Sorry to resurrect this but for those of you that installed these mid pipes yourself:

I had sewell install mine. They rested maybe a quarter or 8th of an inch above this bar (support bar?) that runs from one side of the vehicle to the other.

When i start my car the mid pipes rattle (so annoying of a sound) against this. Causes no damage just very annoying. Also whenever I hit a small bump they contact creating a sound. I'm lowered so on the road this sound is never-ending unless on a perfectly smooth surface which is like, never.

Was something during installation not done correctly? Should they be sitting higher to avoid this? Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions to fix this? I posted a thread on it some time ago but didnt get much of a response. Sewell simply said it's because it's aftermarket and they refused to fix it.

I complained once, took it back in. THey put it on the lift. Showed me what the noise was and told me to go to a muffler shop who might be able to bend the pipes (??)

I had thought of this...but i have no idea if this is an important "support bar." I cant even be for sure if it's a "support bar" it's just a very thin bar that goes from one side to the other.

I'd love to take it off but ..maybe it's there for a reason eh?

OH...i get you now. I only saw it once up on a lift and didnt even see how it was bolted on if in such a way that adding washers would do it. That's very simple. I'll have to check it out Thanks.
