Exclamation Lexus HKS Exhaust Hangs Too Low

I'll take a pic when I get a chance, but with me lowered on coils, my exhaust hangs very low at the Y pipe. People who drive behind me say it is really close to the ground. It has never scraped while driving, but it occasionally scrapes going up super steep inclines. I wanna go lower in the rear for next spring, any ideas for pulling the exhaust up? Can I get shorter rubber hangers?

Thanks,

put worm gear clamps on the rubber hangers...tighten the clamp and it will pull the exhaust closer to the car.

Vik, I use the metal worm gear clamps that you can get at any hardware store. They are stainless steel and won’t snap like a zip tie could.

You could try a clamp at the hanger near the Y pipe by the pumpkin since your exhuast tips seem to be in the right spot. This may help pull up the y joint without changing the tip location much.

I have Tanabe but the Y joint hangs low too. I actually had to pull a plastic shopping bag from my exhaust over the weekend. I ran it over on the express way and it melted to the pipe.

I’m not lowered but I used the clamps to align the exhaust tips. The only problem with my setup is that the metal hanger pins of the exhaust can contact the underbody of the car when I go over a large bump. I think it makes contact with the metal plates that suspend the OEM rubber hangers. But its not a big deal to me.

dont go with rubber tighter handers, the vibration will come back to the cabin and the steering wheel, making the car feel cheaper,
my megan midpipe its the same, the other day i saw my car on the road from behind and looks low as hell.

Wowsas. Would like to hear your setup. As for suggestions you need some clamps.
