Stalled!!!!
Ok guys, in the last couple of moths my car has stalled twice while idle and in traffic! I have an akimoto air filter, borlas and a stereo. Does anyone know what the problem could be. Im no enginyr, but thinkin it might be cause of the filter or because its not been oiled up or cleaned in 9k. Someone help.

Check out the rough idle forum
Dude havent you read the rough idle forum? I almost have the fix for this problem. Its very common for GS400 owners to have rough idle and stalls. I will post the fix if there is one by tonight.

my car stalled twice since ive had it.. ( about 1 year) i read on the board it was the TPS, BUT if the lex dealer can not DUPLICATE the problem they will say.. TOOOO BAAAAD like pohanka did.. i suggest you try lexus of rockville. they replaced mine AND my friends. i havent had anymore problems.. but it only stalled twice in a year so.. honeslty i dont know if it fixed the problem. i live in fairfax also. bout 5 mins from fair oaks mall. i know of a couple of GS owners in the dc metro area..gs_400 pusher for one.. cant remember all their names. but we should all have a mini meet sometime.. ive been to a couple of little meets down here and there r not many ppl that show up! especially no GS! MO said he was tryin to get a HUGE event set up! ( MO from swift racing) hopefully that come soon. well whenever the weather gets better we need to all meet up! i havent washed my car in like 2 months! damn weather around here!

i work at lenstoler lexus and they install my intake for me if you want to bring your car up to lenstoler lexus i will have them look at it for you and you can pay the tech under the table and i an get discounted parts and you wont have to worry about your mods they wont care only the service writer care

hey man u should know alot of people from Lexus dealers come on ClubLexus, u should delete that post and just PM people and let them know, that's a phat *** hook up too though but just dont get caught just in case some punk wants to copy and email that dealership, just my .02
