that was the "pre" 2jz-ge that was the stock engine in nonturbo supra's back in the day (mk3) and is just an older version of toyota's in line six

oh ya and there are a few is300 with superchargers not turbo's!

it's actually a 7m-gze. a supercharged 7m-ge engine (pretty rare). you can tell by the placement of the water pump along with the power steering pump.

first pic is also not a jz engine, but a 1g-gze. 2.0 inline 6 only offered in europe and japan as the is200/as200 altezza from 01-05 sc'd by tte.

Thanks for the info guys... I just wasn't ever sure how to identify a 7m/1j/.... Thanks for the heads up on the 1G as well.

I've never heard of an OEM supercharged 7M. I searched for about 2 hours (literally) for one. Nothing OEM. I'm not saying you are a liar, I just want to see it for my own knowledge.

The valve/cam covers are not connected at all. Also, the valve/cam covers have a dip in the center, to allow for the intake. IF that's nto enough, it's so dam boxy .
