Hey Rock, not sure if your already there or not... but if you wonder over to v-eight.com, you will find that there is some killer information about what has already been done in this area. I always liked trend setters, I think you'd be the first to have a DD GS with ITBs. I'd go with a little cheaper route, which would be a Richwood SC intake mani, an Eaton M112 from a Cobra, upgrade fuel pump, and maybe run a standalone cause I would run >7 psi... The only unknown would be MAF and injectors and fuel rail. ITBs can be found for the cheap from crotch rockets, but just the fabing and customizing work will take so much time and energy, I wouldn't even dare. Yes, ITBs are smaller than the OEM TB inlet, however once you add all 8 ITBs up, the surface area is far greater than the single OEM TB. The trick is that our V8 would use 2 banks of 4 ITBs, the trick would be getting all 8 to open and close exactly, then trying to tune it on top of that is a PITA, as it was mentioned above... I like your thinking though, keep asking these questions and someones going to eventually do it.

the only reason why screw-type blowers exist is because of packaging. no need to make a bracket to hold the blower, just bolt it on top of the intake manifold and run a longer accessory belt and bam, supercharged.

All I know is that the oem one has a cable that opens and closes the plenum and the aire intake pipe connects to it (so it's not exposed).

Please send me a link or give me some more info. on this mod.
i think this is the exact link i followed when i made mine
