without the silencers, depending on your RPM, it's going to drown out quite a bit of your bass and music...

wow its not that bad.... everybody has a different opinion as to how "loud" something really is, best option is to hear it in person first before u buy it. IMHO its not loud and only drones(a little) on freeway. never have to raise my voice louder than normal to talk to someone inorder to hear them

that's true...but i still think it's a very significant drowning of the music =T

anyways, the silencers cost me around $90 for a pair...great quality stuff and the power band is almost the same without the silencers!

"the power band is almost the same without the silencers!"

how i would translate it.

power through out all rpms is almost the same without the silencers!

lychee come to the south OC thursday night meets(every other thursday) and i'll take you for a cruise in mine and show you how "loud" it is.

The drone doesn't bother me too much - you'll be able to hear your music just fine. It's constantly there, though, which is usually the biggest annoyance.

it's the loudest axle-back app for the 2is. you will have cabin drone.

however, you're NOT going to go deaf because of it.

I have a pair of silencers in hand, that I never installed. Brand new just sitting in my trunk. They cost me $92. Want to come grab them for $80 they are all yours.

It's not bad for city driving. But when I'm driving at a constant 80mph on the highway, it gets kinda annoying.

How easy is it to install silencers? I saw Gernby's thread there was drilling involved

i have hks on my is250 as well, at first i wasn't used to it, i tho it was MAD loud, but after awhile i got used to it and i kept asking my friends and gf is it me or is it not as loud as before
so basically it might seem a bit loud at first, but in the end for me i wished it was a bit louder lol
