Takeda is a new company,
owned by Afe (biggest filter maker also makes intake for various trucks and cars)
Product should be good as Injen or Fujita.

looks fine to me, the pipe is pretty straight, and the heatshield looks like it would do a pretty good job. also i noticed that they left the bottom part of the stock box in the car. u guys with injens leave the bottom part of the box in there?

not really.

in terms of power, intake systems for the 2is provide marginal gains. unless someone here has dyno numbers to prove that one intake system creates more power than another/the others, there's no reason to think that one is better.

in terms of sound, both make more sound than the OEM intake.

imo, you're really paying for the name brand.

You're referring to the stock snorkel, it looks like the heatshield has a hole to accompany it, looks more efficient than the other open element intakes seeing as it still uses the stock ram-air setup and doesn't suck in that much hot air

I use the Injen and I left the stock ram-air snorkel.
