The Sonic one is crazy loud, I think by car the loudest air intake out there but its like 300 bucks. When I stood in front of the car being rev-ed, my chest plate vibrated lol.

I've only seen one in real life on a 2IS, and its done by attaching it to the JoeZ intake tub.

is a joe z tube necessary? looks like you can use the longer style short ram tube like fujita or injen? that sounds awesome.

I wonder if it will fit? I don't see how it won't but you would need a weird coupler?

The thing is massive, bigger than any cone air filter, so I am afraid a longer tube wont leave enough room. The one on the JoeZ tube is already pretty much near the end of the light bulb holder.

^^agree.. I have the FUjita and wanna do this mod but afraid the tube will be too long. I might order this and keep you guys updated how it works out with the FUJITA tubes.

i think the tube would need to be cut i believe, i just did some research, any intake with that style shield will make that aggressive sound, i'm going to order a ROAR intake filter, very similar to this.
