Default New exhaust - new problem

Well I just installed a Megan Racing Midpipe:
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/part...ess_Steel/9681

And now the car is smoking from the tailpipes with a strange odor. I'm wondering if it is smoking because it's heating up the new stainless steel and burning off the inside of the pipe (if that makes any sense). Has anyone had any experience with this pipe?

Side note: One of the guys I work with has longtube stainless steel headers on his Mustang and said it smoked after the installation too, but the metal changes color from the heat and will stop after it's gone through a few heat cycles. Hoping that is the case with this new exhaust.

Its just the film burning off. Very normal. Anytime you install new exhaust components, you will get that. It should be gone by tomorrow. Just drive it around.
