Cool Sprint Booster !!

Has anyone here ever used Sprint Booster for our cars? It states that it suppose to make the throttle open up a bit and increase power. I don't know for sure if it safe to use..It only a plug & play device. Here is the link: http://www.sprintboostersales.com/ check it out!!

Sounds like an eBay resistor trick to me. Make sure you read it well.

• Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower.

• Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times.

• Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster.

• Sprint Booster is not for everyone.

I just saw this thing on Two Guys Garage on Saturday on the Speed Channel, and they were acting as if it was a real performance upgrade to improve acceleration response time.

Hmmmmm........

Has anyone actually tried one of these things??
Thanks

What would be the purpose of trying a product whose manufacturer clearly states that their product "does not increase Horsepower" and it "does not reduce your 0-60mph times." Just to verify their claims?

Chances are that episode of Two Guys Garage was sponsored by the nice people at Sprint Booster. I bet, for legal reasons, the hosts never actually said it added any performance.

I am also skeptical. The interest I had was in lag time. The hosts did comment on the product saying that SEMA gave the company an award. And said that the interface removes the "laggy feeling". They claim that it has settings. I just want someone else to test one first!

It's just a throttle offset modifier. So basically, on a normal basis 20% throttle is 20% open, 50% is 50% open, 70% is 70% open and so fourth. What the throttle offset does is when you're at 20% throttle on your foot, the butterfly plate in the throttle is actually at 35-40%. 50% on the pedal, and the throttle is at 70%, 70% on the pedal and it's 100% throttle.

It just makes your car feel faster because it's giving you more throttle per the same travel of your pedal.

I think Blitz or Tom's had a similar thing. Came out like 2-3 years ago.

You guys will probably rip on me , but I've installed one of these on my friend's AMG and as Jeff says above, it completely eliminates the electronic throttle response delay. Believe it or not, a ton of modded MBs use this product. Just my personal experience that you do "feel" a difference after install. I believe it only works on the '01-'05 GS and other Lexus models. I'll probably install one on my wife's Matrix. Install takes ten minutes.
