You tuned almost 20hp out of the car with a neo ?
What kind of intake are you running ?
Shoot hearing that almost makes me want to mod the wifes car. She loves the shi* out of it now. I cant imagine what she would think if it had another 30hp with IHE/tuned

You can also add another 15-20hp with headers

^ yup! you said it. With the addition of I/H/E, TM plugs (I think they work) and an A/F controller you can (will) see approx. 50whp over stock #'s. I am hoping for 290-300whp when I get my Neo tuned...it is still disconnected.

It seems to me that you would get more hp/tq say from 3-5k from the Gs3-T than you would the Gs4xx, but the 4xx would smoke it off the line. Do i have a flaw in my logic?
WOuldn't final drive affect the performance??

Like I said before 50lbs won't make a big difference.
i meant where it makes the power, not so much how much power it's making. with the turbo the power will be made past where the v8 peaks out.

coco is definitely right. gearing makes a big difference, but that was never part of the equation. So i guess we're talking about turbo gs3 with stock 3.92 vs gs4 same power with stock 3.76 (complete guess, i really have no idea, someone please correct me)

GS4xx are 3.29, the gears you mention are from a Supra.

You are correct in what you're saying, but I think you don't understand that's not a good thing. Why do you think S2000 suck of the line, their power band is in the 6k-8k range. The lower the power band the better. You want your torque to come in as low as possible to help your car get out the hole quick.

Are you confused

It's not a race, but a possible outcome if it were to be one
