This might be a dumb girl question, but here it goes:
I've noticed that I have black soot in my GReddy SE tailpipes. I never noticed it before on my OEM exhaust probably because the tailpipes were smaller. When I do my weekly car detail, this black crap usual wipes off easily but is really annoying. Is it normal for our IS's to run richly?
I know there's suppose to be some residue in the exhaust, but I've never seen it this black/dark. That's why I started to worry. But since I'm not the only one with this issue, I'm not too worried now. Thanks!
Yeah I get this on my tanabe a lot, I need to get a strong metal polish, cuz I didnt wash it for a month over the winter and now I cant get some of those things off with my normal metal polish
Wait - are we talking about wiping down the inside of the exhaust tip? That seems like a losing battle.
yeah LMAO
I wax the outer portion of my tip once a week or more often
and try to wipe down the inside of the exhaust tip at the end of the day
this way, they are always clean and shiny
well, you all can do this faster than me since you all only have TWO TIPs to clean
