i dont think this will be a hard swap as hey both come from the same chassis and same serise of cars..
most of u guys drive 350's lol
be nice to us guys who can only buy 250 cuz lexus Aus is a tool
We aren't being mean to you. We just don't want you to make the wrong decision. If you want speed, the 2IS isn't the right car for you. I think you are better off with an 335. You will save more money to trade in your 2IS now for a 335.

Just my .02 cents...

Since cost is no object, maybe a V8 from an IS-F would be nice...

Cool, mounted in rear seat/trunk area. Call it mid-engine.

to the OP.... i am a new owner of an IS250 and what im quickly learning is that these cars are great for a person that wants a beautiful car thats fun to drive and has a decent selection of aftermarket mods (for looks and convience).....

For the money you would spend to get over 300hp in the IS250... you should just go buy a 240 shell or something along those lines... drop a LS motor or SR20 (w/ GT28rr Turbo Upgrade).... your looking at a 300+ hp car that weighs 2???lbs and would destroy most exotics you line up with... all for under $7000.

Tastefully mod your IS250 to turn heads..... buy a cheap shell with a nice swap to snap necks.

He's in it for the challenge can't you guys tell?

I know Lexus is not Honda so not many people do engine sways, but then again why would you sway when the 350 is readily availalble right? The problem of getting all the answer ivl1004s, is right there man.

I'm sure this guy would prefer to hand built his 250 into a 350 rather than getting a 350 from factory.
