correct me if I'm wrong...but hasn't raw material plummeted in price? just saying...prices should have dropped for these "steel" headers.

Raw metal cost is insignificant on mild steel probably under $20 of total cost. Cost is in fabrication, flange cutting (off site)(head x 2, cats x 2), oxy bung x 2, mandrel bending (on site bending), pipe cutting, fitting, welding and of course jet hot coating. They should drop the included bolts and gaskets as they are not recommended. These are low volume parts hand built in America by Americans that need to earn enough to justify showing up to work.

Looks like SS headers went up in price... I guess I will skip that part and other mods will take priority.

Suspension next then maybe torque converter or LS BBK.

Well, I was selling my S&S headers, but changed my mind cuz I might put them on my GS400, but not definite. I got these when I bought Dave's car and he threw them in as part of the deal. They were never installed. Just an FYI tho, they are not the new batch, and I think there were some issues with some of the first batch.

Ship it back to them and have them replace it. Then resell it or keep it.

DOH!!!! I just ordered my SS headers...damn itchy hands can't stay still. Always buying stuff...let's hope the mild steel can hang. If anyone can suggest an install shop in sacramento, let me know. Otherwise, I'mma do it myself. gs430 2001.

I know for sure my eibach+bilstein can't hang. ugh!

That totally is not cool for the price they charge. I emailed them and they justifed their price increase for the higher price of raw material. I just kept my mouth shut.

Hope they take care of it..but the inconvenience will get you boiling.

lol...you're too funny Sam... You are relatively new on these forums and as soon as you say you are going to do something you do it instantly and report back on these forums the next day. There is no contemplating, or saving funds, or shopping around...you just do it. I am sure your car is going to come along GREAT at this pace. Keep up the good work man!
