SEMA has slowed down production just a tad bit... but Carson will be fully stocked with a New Batch approx. 11/15 or sooner...

Thanks
Joe Z

The resonator looks little different but that wont matter since it wont be there. It does look a little short the the USspec. Dont think that would matter since the joez intake has sleeves make up or shorten the gap.

Okay... You need someone to remove the intake pipe if the IS300... I'm too busy these days with studies, but I can go next week to my Japanese friend and take out my intake and post a pic of it to see if it really fits.... juts wait for me guys... if not this monday it might be next saturday.

ok so heres the last update, this guy tried fitting the IS350 HKS typhoon intake on his IS300 but said that the flowmeter didnt fit so he couldnt install it,

I hope the JOEZ and the F-Sport dont have that same problem

Guys, the JoeZ will not fit into the stock airbox. This is because i also own a 2nd gen IS300 and bought a JoeZ pipe a couple of months ago and only found out that it doesn't fit while i was trying to install it. So i did improvise a little bit and connect the JoeZ pipe with HKS super power flow reloaded air sunction kit. In the end i did manage to get it installed.

wait a few more questions:
which HKS super power flow reloaded air sunction kit did u use? cause there isnt one for the IS.

Also would it have fit the stock intake tubing (sans Joe Z)?

Yup, i gree with you ndk83, i didn't like the way it looks either although you can't really see it under the engine cover. I did change back to the stock airbox though after a while using it. I must say while i was using it, it did have a nice growl sound which compliments a lot with my HKS legamax exhaust. low rev sound from the exhaust and high rev from the air intake.

If im not mistaken, the shop that i got it installed last time said that he used the air suction kit for 2002 wrx sti which has an adapter with the same diameter as the JoeZ pipe and fits perfectly as you can see from the picture.

I changed back to stock because all the fuss about hot air being sucked from the engine is not good due to using SRI, so to be safe thats why i changed it back.

I guess this is the only thing that would fit to our cars and be perfect...

As when I asked my Japanese friend he said if you add a short ram intake it will not give you gain in acceleration which I don't want that. It will give you a drop in acceleration, but will give gain in top speed.

Do you think this is true? If yes I'll just add a drop in from blitz and stop worrying much about all of this...

which GS u talkin about? the middle east ones? or the US spec ones? Even if it did i dont think it would make a diff as the our stock intake is more than adequate.

Not sure but i want to say that ull lose topspeed as well. but i know that its not gonna be enough to make a difference. weather u gain or lose it wont be much, sides our cars are limited anyway. ive only managed to get up to 240km/h before slowing down for radars

If u really want to effectively increase ur top speed :
changie gear ratios or by lower ur car (better aerodynamics) or install light weight wheels. Even tire pressure and tire diameter affects top speed
