Don't quote me on this but i believe that the stock tranny is rated like 400-450 rwhp. So you should be alright with this setup.

This is basically the same setup I am going for right now. What I have gathered the tranny can hold between 400-450 like elffy said. On top of a oilcooler I would also do a valve body. with the NA mods you are probably looking around 285-290wheel than u throw a 125 on top of that and your at 410-415.

I have talked to a few other guys who are runing nos and one guy who had stock engine and was runing a 125 shot said when he was runing a 75 shot the car took it fine. He said with the 125 shot the tranny would slip a little now and then. He recommended runing a 75.
Another guy I talked to who runs a 125 on basically the same kinda setup we are both going for who also has a oilcooler valvebody and TC didnt comment on the tranny slipping at all but said he thought the GS would be very reliable if you ran a 75 shot.

So me personally I think im gonna go with a 75 shot because I dont want to buy a new tranny anytime soon. Plus im fine with 365wheel :-)

A 125 shot is REALLY pushing the limits of the stock fuel pump. I don't even know if the pump is even keeping up at that range. I'd say 100shot would be the maximum I would run. At 125shot+ the engine is probably running lean up top. Make sure you get a good nitrous kit that can introduce more fuel and retard the timing. If you don't have those 2 things under wraps, you will be looking for a new engine very soon

evil, I think maybe it was me you talked to...

yeh I ran a 125 shot with a completely stock setup... You can run a 125 but you will have to get a computer program that will gradually increase boost instead of the straight up kick of spray. I didnt want to invest anymore money into it because I was taking it off of my car to sell... I cant remember what the system was called, but its around $200 and it eases in the amount of spray until you hit the maximum shot you want... say it starts with a 75 and will gradually increase until you hit 125...

It rolls out with a 125 =D thats all i have to say... 75 is def safe... I ran a 90 also with no problems.. but the tranny didnt like the surge of 125 extra hp (approx)

Yes you were one of the guys I was refering to DCZ. I forget names. I did know about easing in the spray I thought alot of the higher quality kits come with the programing needed to ease in the spray. I didnt know about the fuel pump though good call on that.
