Something people always forget to factor in when boosting...
The cost of fittings, hoses, and lines. It's often a cost is that is overlooked or underestimated. These things can add up very quickly. For example I've personally spent close to $500 on fittings, lines, and the flaring tools. I just upgraded my fuel system again so the cost of how expensive these little things are hit me hard this time around lol.

Example below:
you know what though man, when you have your ride built as much as you do, you need that kind of stuff. not to mention 500 is like fckin pocket change compared to what you have in the build altogether hahaha

So true lol. It's a horrible habit man. I don't even have second thoughs anymore on $500 stuff. It used to take me a week or two going back and fourth of deciding if I should buy something or not even if it cost $100. But I've just learned to accept the truth. Welcome to "Modding Anonymous"(MA)
Hey Jeff, what are the specs to the fuel system setup you are building and the estimated cost because I'm looking into upgrading the fuel system on my 94 TT supra and was looking into building my own kit. Thanks.

haha i feel the grip myself. I currently pray every night for god to wire me the money for a GTE swap and some coils hahaha. Honestly, if i ever stack up the money and do it, I think i'll leave the GTE swap as it is unless its JDM, then i'll have to bring it to USDM spec (steel twins/injectors etc.) 320 TT hp out of my luxo-boat will be more than enough for me.
its just a matter of putting together that next 10k that i'll need to do it, which i actually find justifiable because putting 10k into this car will keep me from spending 15k on a new car every 3 or 4 years for the next 10 years haha

You can build a fuel system for around $1200 including injectors, pumps, lines, rail etc...for a Supra. Just need to be thrifty where you shop. If I remember I only had about $1100 in my fuel system on my old TT including everything mentioned above.
all depends on what you buy and what you want to skimp out out.
A fuel system can be made for cheap, but may end up biting you in the end. I recommend spend the money and get the nice stuff. I have built too many projects with budget in mind, and it just SUCKS!!!
$500 in various connection, fittings, lines, filters, is about right.
A good filter is $100
fuel line $100-$200(depending on size)
fittings $300(again depending on size)
-10AN 90 degree radius bends cost $35 a piece, and my last built required 5 of them.
you know you can save a ton of money on bare steel fittings, rather than the anodized aluminum ones. considering you dont see 3/4 of the fitting anyway, why spend the loot.
if you need a great quality fuel system, give induction motorsports a call. their website is www.inductionmotorsports.com .
jeff, what are you running for a fuel system??? looks like a pair of filters, though i'm kinda wondering what the hardline is for? how many pumps, i would assume 2 being there are 2 filters.
