Makeover time!! GS400TT upgrade/build has begun (pic happy)
You're probably right. I don't think these would flow as good as headers for an NA setup. These headers are the exhaust manifolds that feed 2 snails (turbos). I would like to make equal length manifolds, but there is minimal room for anything else. Any other style may require me to move things like AC, power steering and other stuff.... and that is not what I wanna deal with as I drive my car daily.
So here are better pics of the motor while it was being assembled.

man this ***** is insane!!!!! all i can say is DAMN!!!!
I cant wait until you get this thing up and running...you must and I reiterate you must keep a video cam on board at all times and film this beast in action!!!! With all theses TT GS400' s we have yet to really see but one in action and that video was a teaser. With that being said be the first to show us videos of some highway pulls or even some beatdowns/kills!!!!
I know this is out of sequence, but I thought that I would share some pics of the head after it was "reconditioned" The only changes to the head was the addition of upgraded valve springs. From most of my reading and research, the 1uz vvt-i heads flow very well, so I didn't feel the need to have it ported. The head was definitely dirty initially now it's as good as off the assembly line. And also the new custom cams.

To be honest, I think the motor looks much better in person and I sometimes think that I don't even wanna put it in the car cause I just want to look at it. But I can't wait until it's in. I am more excited about the built tranny that is going in. I just want to feel the crisper shifting and faster e-shifts. I guess I'll just have to wait
