HKS... turbo? (New Supercharger Shown!)
man.... they need to come out with something for the IS250!! I mean... no need to twin turbo a ISF, but they did it,..... and the 250 NEEDS somthing.. and they don't do it....
Who is willing to pool in some cash and pay someone over at MIT or something to try and crack the ECU

So the HKS kit adds results similar to the LMS kit, which nobody bought, because the results sucked for the cost.
How surprising- another company got the same damn results, because as we keep telling everyone, that's the best results you'll get trying to boost a ~12:1 compression gasoline engine on pump gas.
And for the last time- "cracking the ECU' won't help you. TOMs can program the JDM ecu right now, and they do for their supercharger kit. Which ALSO sucks for price-performance.
Nobody's magically gonna invent a way to run 15 lbs of boost on a stock ISx50 engine tomorrow. Or next week. Or next year. Certainly not for less than just buying a faster version of the IS will cost either.
The twin-turbo IS-F by the way was on a nowhere close to stock motor.
If your 250 is too slow, a 350 is only $3500 more for over 100 extra hp.

Do you mean the HKS kit? They're not running much boost, based on the dyno posted. At a guess I'd say they programmed the ECU for 100 octane (as TOMs does) and are running like 5.8-6 lbs boost (again like TOMs).
If you mean the twin-turbo IS-F kit, they basically rebuilt the engine with different pistons, rods, etc so it's likely no longer a high compression engine.

How many boosted US-based IS350s are there - 2? It pays to be exclusive.
