Side note, that IC is TINY...
For the little bit of boost we can run on this car I am sure its more then enough. The front mount that the LMS kit was using was probably overkill and there are also draw backs to running a larger IC.

Lets see if they pull through with it into production. I just dont see the demand with the IS owner for them to move forward.

Here is the info about the GT Supercharger.

It's available for the 350Z/G35's already.

It's a centrifugal S/C. Oh my!!

is it me or does it seem this setup bypasses the intake and connects directly to inter cooler? sorry not sure if this is common on SC or TT setups.

From what i can see from this pic, it looking like the initial air inlet goes from that red plastic cover on the left of the intake tube. Then it runs down towards the bolted S/C. Then from the S/C it goes to the intercooler and then runs back up towards the intake manifold.

edit: i wonder if this would only work on the jdm IS350? Anyone in Hawaii going to get it when it comes out? j/k i hope it works for US models as well.

still its only gonna put out maybe 5lb of boost, unless you rebuild the bottom end you'll still have the 11.8:1 compression... nice for us to look at but not very practical/realistic/lose money...

Looks like a candidate for methanol/water injection. I'm still thinking the IS-F is a better route, but it's cool to see someone working on an FI solution for the 6 cylinders. Nothing here stops you from putting the setup on a 250 except the electronics.

From what I saw from searching, their G35 and 350z kit is $6500(probably install labor is extra), gaining around 50 horses. To me thats not worth it. If thats the case for the IS sc kit, if they come out, I'll keep saving for my future car.

That's pretty much why the LMS supercharger died off as a product. 5-6k for 40ish rwhp. A few folks were brave enough to try it out, but mostly people couldn't see dropping well over $100 per horsepower.

Seems odd another vendor would try pretty much the exact same product for the exact same vehicle when almost nobody bought one the first time around... makes even less sense with the IS-F out now really.

with a pullley swap or somethin could we crank more power out of one of these? or would that make it more likely to damage the engine
