you probably won't find many clips of the HKS on an N/A 300 because the 3" piping diameter is not recommended for N/A 300's. The FI 300's and 400/430's can support it because of their higher exhaust backpressure. From what I can tell about everyone's information that sells it, you may experience a power loss from them.

Exhaust piping is 2 1/4 for the record.

N/A = Naturally Aspirated

FI = Forced Induction (Turbo, Supercharger)

You will not loose power. Stock exhaust is 2 1/4 inch piping to a restrictive muffler and hks is 2 1/4 inch piping to a free flowing muffler. Gains are minimal and no you do not loose power like stated above. All the system does is helps the car flow better up top by freeing up some back pressure in the system. You still retain low end power because your system still has back pressure because you aren't removing the cat converter and resonators in the system.

I changed mine out a couple of years ago.....the HKS will DEFINITELY make it sound like a V8. Very deep but not too loud unless you stay on it.

That is Alan's GS400 in the video. Sounds good in person. No good shots of the exhaust though.

I have the HKS Hiper on my GS400 as well and its the deepest sounding exhaust I've heard for our cars.

Guys, remember your 300's use the 2JZ-GE engine just like the IS300 does. The HKS Hiper is one of the most popular exhaust for the IS300. There are many clips for the IS300 with this exhaust. The sound should be very similar considering HKS uses an axle-back system on both cars. I think the GS uses the larger size can, so it may be slightly louder, but the tone should be the same. Also, the GS's mid-section resonators may muffle the sound slightly more, but essentially they'll still sound the same.
