Default Lightweight wheels

Hey I'm new to the forum and am the proud owner of a 2007 IS350. I plan on taking my car to a few autocross events and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good set of lightweight wheels (18's) that won't bend or crack too easily. Also if anyone could reccomend some tire choices I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

The SSR wheels i have are extremely lightweight or you want to go with HRE C series if you're trying to break the bank

For autocrossing, I would use the stock wheels with Hoosier A6 245/35-18's at all 4 corners. They will fit on the front and back stock wheels, and they will give you the best gear ratio due to the very small outer diameter.

There aren't too many wheels lighter than the Volk 1 piece forged models (TE's, CE28's, Progressive's, etc.)

Weren't HRE's banned from many autocrosses because of the frequency of breakage?

The Volk RE30s are amazing looking wheels and my pick too. The CE28 are by far the lightest production Volk wheel. The RE30s weight in just about 0.5 lbs more/wheel but look so much better. The Gram lights are also made by Rays but they aren't as strong as the Volks since only the Gram lights Pro models are forged and the rest are cast.

IMO, don't get the +44 ft and +52 rr offset. Get +40 ft and +40 rr offset instead. You may need to roll your rear fenders a little but the wider rear track width would be worth it.
