Default Lexus is250/350 ecu chip from jet

So apparently they have a "ecu chip" for our cars now. Have any of you guys heard about this and used it yet? its buy a company called JET PERFORMANCE its suppose to give us 14-18whp they say

"JET PERFORMANCE COMPUTER UPGRADE PACKAGE -- ECU Will Be Programmed According To The Information You Provide On The Vehicle Specification Sheet To Optimize Performance And Mileage, Programming Includes Extensive Modification To Air And Fuel Ratios, Ignition Advance And Boost Pressures For Turbo Applications, Features Exclusive Dynamic Spectrum Tuning For Optimal Performance Across The Entire Power Band-Not Just At Full Throttle, Call Jet At 1-800-535-1161 8 To 5 PST For ECU Confirmation, This Kit Requires Your ECU To Be Sent To Jet Chips For Recalibration, All Instructions And Shipping Materials Included"

seeing this thread on my.is forum one of the guys talk to the company about this and the company mentioned that
they've been getting about 14-18 rwhp out of this. 1 year warranty, and all the shipping is included in the price. They seem to swear by it. he said that they advance the timing and add a little bit more fuel to it. He said that the downside of it was that you had to use premium gas

For 250

For 350

Im not sure if this chip thing is legit though.
What do you guys think?

if the pro's haven't been able to create any sort of chip/hack/upgrade or piggy back for our ECU's yet.. then I highly doubt this abc company has a legit chip.

Now it works...Jet chips are popular with turbo disel trucks but I dont know about luxury sport sedans. It seems too good to be true.

Jet has been around for ages though. I don't think they're really an "abc company". I doubt they have something for the new IS though. Probably a mistake on their advertising but we can always hope.

Here is their official link for Lexus products I only see stuff for the old IS300.

Like ba-b4 said, Jet Performance has been around for awhile.

In fact, so has this "chip" upgrade where you send in your ECU (for other vehicles). Honestly, I was wondering why no-one had brought this up before.

Maybe we'll get REAL lucky and Lexus will come out with an F-sport ECU recal.

I was just on Jets home page and the only IS car that they sell anything for is the 300. They sell products for just about ever other lexus though. http://www.jetchip.com/

Guy in this thread claims he spoke to Jet and they confirmed it works for the 06-08 ISx50.

I remain dubious though.

At work so can't call them to check... but their # is 1-800-535-1161

I just called jet today, and they said that they do reprogram our new IS's and the claims are true.
I am broke right now but in a couple of weeks I am going to head down to their locaton in Huntington Beach and try it out. Cost is $399.00 Will take 2 hours.
If someone else goes before I can let me know how it went.
