old thread i know but after looking over the threads a lot og GS430's (unless you had a early preduction model) the 2800 stall generally caused a CEL so i would assume the 2600 is just safest. not much noticeable difference in the 2600/2800 so i guess safer than sorry huh?

can i get a roll call of anyone with a GS430 and a PI Torque Converter, with the 2800 stall how many of you have CEL issues?

I got an 02 gs430 with the PI 2800 stall tc. No check engine light here!

About 2 years now. It took off about .4 seconds off my 1/4 mile time.

see i dont care about that.... i just dont want the CEL so i was going to restall to 2600. i just want the stall speed and the correct stator pump

need more members opinions. i looked over like 8 threads today. if i dont have to rebuild it, i wont but i dont want a CEL

Default PI stall

i didn't get a cel ever from having a 2800 stall PI converter. and my production date was 4/2002. but i did get rid of it because I felt like the roots blower needed a lower stall to get the engine load sooner.
