Ordered my exhaust!
Luis at our CL sponsor http://www.l-tunedparts.com/index.htm also says they can pricematch to showstopper's price.
well i installed my tanabe exhaust today at a local muffler shop, they charged me $35 not bad.. My impression of the exhaust is that its quite at idle which i like and quite in the upper rpm's. I'm just not sure about the way it sounds in the lower rpm's. from a stop to 50mph? it's more of a humm? I've only put on about 20 miles so im not sure if the note will change? (i hope so) im hoping the note will lose the straight humm sound to something more refined? guess i just gotta put on some more miles

I have a couple questions about the install. Is the supplied hardware (gasket and two bolts) to be used to connect the right and left parts of the exhaust system, while the connection to the cat extension is done using the original gasket and bolts? Also any thoughts on whether it is easier to install the right half of the system, then install the left half or to bolt the two pieces together first, then install the completed assembly?
^i think it will depend if you are working on it alone..or with your buddy..
I did mine with my friend..so we assembled the pieces first and then bolted it.
and yes..you use the original gasket and bolts
GL..it shouldn't be that hard
it was my first time working on it..and it only took me 15~20 min max

I did the passenger side loosely first, then the driver side and tightened them all up once everything was lined up. the reason I used 2 wrenches was the the bolt on the other side kept spinning on me. For the person saying you need to weigh a 100 lbs or I must be thin....well, I weigh 180 lbs, but I have a 30 inch waist, so I guess it does help to be thin
