Default 1jz 2nd gen GS?

i seen and herd of 1jz 1st gen GS300, but have you guys ever seen or herd of a 1jz 2nd gen GS300? Or is it a waste of time? if you do think its a waste why i mean people have done it in a 1st gen.

i was just thinking the other day about this. I know the 2jzgte is a WAY better option but if you were tight on cash 1jz would be decent with some nice power unless you plan on going 1k hp.

i was kind of effy on asking this question. i thought i mite get flamed for asking something like this! well are your guys thoughts on this?

I think most on here utilize their OEM 3.0L engine is because they already have it and they're only looking for moderate power increase. Plus some people say it's more of a pain to go with a 1jz because of all the little parts needed, and some parts are not readily available as others. Another possible reason is that our 2nd gens are OBD-II.
