If you reread what you said. You just stated you put the intercooler before the supercharger and the supercharger would heat it up. The intercooler is after the supercharger, and a turbo creates more heat than any supercharger.
Can you point to me where I said there will be no benefits? I said it's not as beneficial on a root-type blower, which is true. Benefit is a relative term in this case. Pound for pound, a centrifugal blower is going to create less heat. The Root blower I'm talking about are ones without the intercooler placed between the head and the supercharger. There have been setups out there where one would use a traditional FMIC in conjunction with a root-blower. I'm only assuming the setup in the link is the same because I see no mentioning of the Eaton M90 having an intercooler. Unless Billet Australia is hiding something, I'm going to have to guess that the supercharger does not come with one. A turbo does create more heat, but it sure has a bigger advantage of a possible larger FMIC. I prefer a root over a centrifugal for every day driving though.

There are intercoolers for these type of blowers, most are air to water intercoolers.

I'm very sorry, I misread your first sentence. (many times I might add) I've bolded the one word I missed last night.

Again I'm sorry.

I agree that setup doesn't look like it would house a water to air intercooler.

No worries

Believe me, I would love to run this setup. I love roots blower for their all around power. Give me a root over a turbo when it comes to having a track setup

Default SOMEONE makes an FI kit for the 400!?!?!?!

Just Googling "1uz-fe supercharger" turns up a ton of results--and a lot of places in Australia... A SC kit has to be available for this damn car, one that doesn't cost $8K, doesn't throw CE codes, is a proven reliable kit... SOMEONE ON THIS PLANET OFFERS IT!!!

That would look so good under the hood of my GS400. My wife would kill me if I tried to get another M90. I just told her about this kit and you should have seen the look on her face.

By the way there is a custom built M90 case called the MPx that can push 25% overdrive (eaton's oem rpms for the M90) and 25 PSI for a Super Coupe. I'd love to see this kit modified to have a water to air intercooler and push that much boost through this V8.

you can get a custom plate to make it fit. I actually think someone has one, but I can remember where I saw it.

That setup looks meaner than the RMM setup

It has that domestic V8 look to it

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to fab up a custom intake manifold. Just need access to a TIG welder and CNC machine

But first thing I would address before boosting the VVTi V8 is to beef up all the internals. I don't trust that thing under a lot of boost lol. The pre-vvti ones were a lot beefier but the new ones...not as much.

I think it would be ok with 6.5 psi on stock internals. Thats how much the m90 kits for the non vvti LS put out.
