need more performance!!
why is there not light weight pulleys or fly wheels or anything special for the 2IS..
would they not help much with power like they do some on other cars?

Remember our car is a Lexus. The luxury car. The "Intelligent Sport". Though our car is a lot different from the last generation "IS" it's a lot more luxury and a lot less power. A Cat-Delete would be my next performance mod once I get the money. If I had a lot of money, I'd get a full fuel management system for better running conditions and maybe end up putting bigger injectors in. These are all just ideas though.
Light weight flywheels are for manual transmissions. Light weight pulleys usually don't start showing up until the market is big enough to justify production. Honestly though, I don't think light weight / underdrive pulleys would be any more noticeable than a drop-in filter. One reason is because we have electronic power steering so there are less accessory pulleys. We also don't have a low power / high revving 4 cylinder that tends to benefit the most from them.

what would a fuel management system do for the is? its not boosted in any way. how would you improve upon whats there?
The stock tune is very conservative, so a more agressive fuel / timing curve could give significant gains. At high RPMs, the stock fuel curve gets very rich, which reduces power.

A fuel management system is an ECU. There are a few different types of ECUs, but they are all ECUs. The OEM ECU is a fuel management system (that also manages many other things), then there are aftermarket "standalone" ECU's that replace the OEM ECU, and "piggy-back" ECU's that compliment the OEM ECU by adjusting its inputs and outputs to achieve a more desirable outcome.
