i changed all my spark plugs but i cant get to 1 plug...
its the one when u open the hood up its on the right side closest to the fire wall..............i have two extensions , one is to short and one is to long ...the long one hits the brake resovior .....
can u guys tell me what exactly i need to get that plug out....
length/size or what ever .............
thanks
Use the small 4 to 6 inch extension connected to the 5/8" socket. make sure the socket has rubber inside to hold the spark plug and prevent cracking the porcelin wehen putting it back in.
I also use a "wobble" extension, meaning that the extension wobbles, or moves around in the socket. This extra movement allows the extension to move slightly around the master cylinder and come out.
Once the spark plug is "loose", you can turn the plug out by hand and lift it out.
I connected two smaller extensions while in the socket. In other words connect a small extension to the spark plug socket and put inside the spark plug hole and then add another small extension. Unscrew and reverse the process to get the assembly out. That's how I did it at least...GL!
slightly OT, but what plugs does everyone recommend as replacements? I'm 100% stock and am looking for something equal to or slightly better than stock. I saw on the Sewell Lexus website that the OEM plugs were about $11.00 bux a piece; kinda pricey IMO.
Torque Masters...I have them, so does many others on CL. Some swear by them and some say that they are just good replacements...I am in the middle. LOL!
-yea i was gonna get TMaster plugs but dam there so expensive , so i called my unlce at napa and he gave me a really good deal on 8 NGK IRIDIUM's (the newest ones) and i changed my spark plugs today and dam those plugs are really good.......

yo pimp, how much for the plugs and do you have a part number for them? the price you paid in HI should make the plugs in the continental US much cheaper.

im not sure how much each plug was, i got them cheap because of my uncles employee discount at napa. they should be like 9 bucks each plug?
maybe even cheaper for you , everything is a rip off down here in hawaii..
part number is NGK3764 *NGK IRIDIUM IX*
