Default WTB exhaust?

The girlfriend just bought the IS (literally) and need recommendations as to where to buy exhaust. Looking for either the HKS Hi-Power or Tanabe Medalion - leaning toward the Tanabe but not completely sure yet.

Best bet is the classifieds so you dont pay full price for it.

First check for GB by CL vendors. Than, check ebay for tanabe and CL classified ads.

I see them on eBay around $600 shipped, is that a decent price for the Tanabe?

Yeah, if I had saw this thread earlier, I would have said like iSuxel said that the classified section is probably the best place to go. I personally am putting my Tanabe up for sale in the coming weeks.

Where in CA are you located and how much were you looking to get for it?

If you can, post up some pics when you install it! Let us know how you like it.

I installed it this weekend and it sounds good; much better in person than any video or sound clip has been able to capture IMO. Its not loud or ricey. It's deep, clean and civil IMO. My g/f seems to think it sounds ok and that is most important since it is her car...

I didn't take any pics yet though. I can if you guys would like to see, otherwise it looks just like the others on this board.

The hardest part of this is the rubber hangers. They are a PITA. I used a little bit of oil to get them to slide off...
