Default Performance parts for lexus at Sema?

I read about this in a thread a while ago but i can't find it. But today on autoblog there was an article that makes it seem eminent that Lexus performance parts would be announced at SEMA.
Are these lexus parts or TRD or just speculation. Just wondering if this will finally open up the IS for some serious modification.

Given much of the stuff at SEMA it'll probably be carbon fiber fuel lids and chrome radiator caps with TRD on it for $75 :P

i will hope for the best (i.e. headers, s/c, etc...), but prepare for the worst (i.e. key chains, sports wear, carbon fiber crap...)

just read on:

That TRD will show a IS350 concept car at SEMA in Las Vegas.
My expectations are rising that the performance parts for the the IS will be something good!

SEMA concept car= 20" chrome rims, an ugly body kit, brightly colored and insanely too large brakes, and some kinda "racing" type interior. Probably lowered too.

Perhaps I'm being cynical.

You're not cynical.

However, you did forget about the HP-increasing decals. Nothing says SEMA like stickers of ricer companies that you've never heard of until the show...

If they have a single part that required CARB approval, I'll fall over from shock. It took TRD more than a year just for a supercharger on the Scion tC. I really doubt they're going to rock the world with something impressive for the IS350, especially since their superchargers have been hit and miss since day one.

Bodykits? Sure. Fat lip rims? Sure. Real mechanical performance stuff? I'm soooo skeptical!

I also heard through the grapevine that there just may be a TRD Supercharger announced with warranty installed at dealerships. I can only hope it's more than just rumor.
