Tanabe Exhaust Too Low?
For those who have the Tanabe exhaust, is the left pipe the lowest part under your car? Looking at pics of others in this forum, it looks that it is. I just want to be sure, so can you check yours and let me know? I know the left pipe on the stock exhaust is straight and higher. I just don't want to hit somethig on the road that might damage the pipes. Below are a couple of pics. Thanks.

you'll probably need 2 people, one to loosen the bolts on the Y pipe and another to try and "pull up" the canister adjusting the rubber hangers...it should pull it up a little bit, not necessarily the piping though
How will this bring the Y pipe up? There is no hanger there to adjust. I'm thinking this is the way it fits under the car. I just wan't people who have it on their car verify it is normal. If it's not, I'm going back to the shop that installed it.

Yes, I understand. But isn't the rubber hanger fixed? So no matter how much you adjust the canister, won't it still fall lower? Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the hanger support the weight of the canister? I read on a different thread someone adjusted the rubber hanger itself. I forgot how.
The piping is quite low, but I have never hit it with anything like a speedbump or such. Deep dips don't touch it as the wheelbase keep it from scraping; that's more of a bumper concern...
Yeah looks like most exhausts for our car do the same thing on the left side. Here is a picture of my friends Borla.

Here is my Tanabe installed. I played around with the left hanger a bit and finally got the left side to sit a bit higher to match the right.
