its not for sale yet, almost made the purchase 2 months ago but while placing the order with evasive they told me that blitz hasnt released it to the US yet. i called blitz shortly after and they told me it should be released sometime around august or september.

i had the blitz nurspec exhaust on my 05 STi and i absolutely loved it, it wasnt annoying loud like a fartcan, but more like american muscle loud, very deep. so im deffinatly looking forward to see how the nurspec dt is going to be on the IS

I have the Blitz nur spec on my GS and its a great quality exhaust for the money.. From the looks of those pics i don't see any dissappointments in this exhaust..

One question, does the HKS exhaust from the dealer a full catback or just a rear section.. and i read that some prefer the Borla over the HKS? To me i thought the borla was to quiet on the GS even with the V8.. Isn't it quie with the V6? thanks in advance

Tony

i emailed them today to see what the deal was, and they instantly replied

-Hi Mo,

We're still waiting for it to arrive in the U.S. We work pretty close
with Blitz US, so we'll definitely post it on our site or our blog when
it
arrives.

Sincerely,
Tony

Hey thats great that they got back quick... but..

If they work closey with Blitz USA then they should know the price of $750 they have posted on their site is way OFF....

In USD your looking at approx $1,500 or so for this unit.
It is just an axle back section.

Nur Spec DT Lexus IS350 GSE21
Part # 67602

The dealership version of the HKS exhaust is just the rear section. You should checkout combfilter's thread regarding the Borla fitment issues. I also had fitment issues (squeaks & rattles) w/a Borla cat-back on another vehicle but it was minor.

I talked to Tony at Evasive and he said the Blitz Exhaust is available for the IS but it is special order and it would take about three months to get it.

Also the price was wrong on the web site. The price is $1400.

So.........I ordered Tanabe it will be on my doorstep next Thursday

don't listen to anything a company tells you about power gains. Especially if it's on an intake or exhaust.

20 HP from an Axle back is absolute nutters.

perhaps you can get 20 HP if you also get headers and delete the cats and have the system properly tuned and desgined. but then that would cost you at least double the Blitz exhaust.

If you want it, get it for exclusivity, sound and/or looks.

Not because they say it's gonna give you 20 HP.

Most exhausts are looking at 5 HP max.
