Default Kaaz LSD unit

Has anyone installed this LSD unit? Just wondering how it differs from the TRD unit. http://www.driftfactory.com/product_...oducts_id=4604

Thats a great writeup. Thanks. Clearly as a daily driver I think Torsen is the way to go. I'm running stock 16s though, so I'll either stay with the stock 3.26 or consider the LS400s 3.62 R&P.

One other question, the writeup mentions that the SC diff is a direct bolt in replacement for the GS diff. Just wondering if LS is also a direct bolt in replacement.

I dont believe the LS is a direct bolt-on.

If you go through all the posts in the link above, I believe someone tried the LS pumpkin and it was NOT.

Yeah, I figured in all the years gen 2s have been out that someone would have considered trying the 3.62 gear from the LS400. Maybe the R&P would work in the GS pumpkin, but the LS pumpkin has different mounting points.

Yeah I just put my 3.92 pumpkin back on. My KAAZ LSD with 4.27 gears is for sale in the GS classifieds if anyone in SoCAL is interested. Didn't want to do it, but with my new job I have to drive clients around and didnt want to have to explain the chatter noise everytime.
