I dont mind the sound at freway speeds...see my mods below.....but my best advice is to go to a dealer that has the HKS from the factory and drive it. May be a bit hard to find but do the legwork through the internet and make a few phone calls like you want to buy one.

PS- I like the Brake dust TSB on your mod list....sweet

Unfortunately, there are only 2 Lexus dealerships in my area, and they are actually the same dealer, just on opposite sides of town.

Also, I called the bigger of the two and they said they've never even ordered the exhaust before.

Thanks. If it wasn't for this website, I wouldn't even know about the TSB.

I think I'm leaning towards the Tanabe, but I'm probably going to wait a month or two before I decide for sure. I'm not in a huge rush.....yet.

Carson Toyota/L-tuned parts. I got it for the group buy price that is listed in the GB section of this forum.

I notice my Lexus HKS more so when accelerating, especially between 2K-3K RPM than I do when cruising at 60. In fact I don't notice much of a drone at all when cruising. It's there, but its not very noticeable unless you are really trying hard to listen to it.

I'M AN IDIOT... I JUST READ THE POST FROM TODAY SAYING YOU WENT WITH TANABE. OH WELL, I'LL LEAVE THIS POST UP FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY WANT THE INFO
