Default SRT Intake problems

Hey guys I've got a bit of a problem. I just ordered & recieved an SRT intake for my 99 GS300. However I think they gave me the wrong air filter. My filter does not have the vacuum elbow on the front of the filter. And I paid for next day shipping to get it by the weekend So I actually have time to install it being a long weekend since I won't have time to install it for another 3 weeks
My question is to anyone with the SRT intake on a 98-2000 GS300. What does the elbow look like from the inside of the filter and how is it attached? If anyne as pictures I'd greatly appreciate seeing exactly how its put together. I'm debating on modifiying it myself & putting in a vacuum elbow. Is it feasible to do or should I just wait & take a 70$ loss for the next day air, since I cant do jack with the intake now, and wait for SRT to get back to me on Tuesday? I'd appreciate any help

I think I've found a vacuum elbow that will work but I'm wondering if there's something else the inside the filter that it is connected to. Can any one take some pictures of how the vacuum elbow is attached on the filter from the inside & out? I'd appreciate it greatly.

There is nothing it's connected to on the inside. Drill a hole in the top of the filter smaller than the elbow diameter. Since the top of the filter is a soft compound just push the elbow into the hole, pressure will hold it in just fine.

Thanks man. I did get in touch with SRT. They are going to send me the elbow they use.
Is the elbow affixed with silicone or is it just the pressure of the system that holds it in place? The elbow I had, had a screw on connection with o-rings for a better seal but I didn't think that was sufficient. Maybe I'm being too cautious. Thanks again for the help its much appreciated
