If I'm not mistaking RoRo, your problem probably like mines. Its trying to hook up the tires because I spin my tires in 1st to 2nd gear. That's why the times are so bad.

I was launching just fine with the drag radials. I don't have any fuel tuning whatsoever except for this sensor that LMS installed that listens for knocking and if it detects it, then it cuts back on the timing. When my supercharger stopped working, I sent it in to Procharger and they replaced it for free, but I had them put on a smaller pulley to run more boost and now I need to have it properly tuned.

I'll be taking it out today. I haven't driven it in over a week.

It just felt like mid-track the power was cutting back or something at the drag strip. I can't and won't be able to explain it until I get the car to a dyno or a shop to get it properly tuned. I know that it is much faster than stock and much faster then when it had the larger pulley on it, but I don't have the times or dyno sheet to show for it as of yet. My last dyno was with the larger pulley and it was 314 at the wheels. My stock dyno was 268 at the wheels.
RoRo what boost were you at with the larger pulley? and now w/ the smaller one?
Just a thought, since the S/C is running off the stock ECU maybe w/ the increased smaller pulley boost, your leaning out and/or the ECU is slightly retarding your timing.
I'm not sure how much you are going to be able to tune it on the dyno unless you have some type of FMU or piggy back>

Roro, I just noticed the "Fastest Known IS350 in 1/4 Mile" under your name. I think I may have to claim that title! At least until you get things worked out and take the title back...

It's all yours bro. I don't put those labels there though, so you'd have to contact an admin or something. Hopefully, when I do take it back it'll be by more than 5/100ths of a second.

My 100th post....Yay for me.!!

Hopefully it will be by at least .095 seconds! Somebody's gotta brake the 13 second ceiling...

are they using a roots blower or other design. i have a magnacharger on my trailblazer ss and stock is 400 but now im doing over 550hp at wheels and 570tq with a few other mods. Roots will give you instant boost and torque no lag.

and heres a vid 0-100 this is in a 4600 pound suv

my kit is intercooled and yes roots blowers have intercooler set ups just look at the lightning.

since the car is such a small motor the roots will give instant torque right off the line no lag like centrif. blowers.

Come to think of it, I have seen aftermarket roots style blowers with air to air ICs (hot side on I4s), but I don't know how a similar design could be done on a V6 with such a cramped engine compartment..

The argument against Roots blowers is their inefficiency. They have the worst efficiency of all blower styles. Centrifugal is best and Whipple is between Roots and centrifugal.

Has anyone ever tried implementing a centrifugal with a continuously variable pulley system?

The tom's kit appears to be a roots or twin screw/whipple type.

You'd be better off designing a CVT for one. They really need a constant speed on the output because just like a turbo, they'll go into surge if you overspeed them, and we all know surge is BAD. The problem is, you need an output speed around 100k rpm, with an input speed of only a few k rpm.
