Default 2nd Gen GS 3 E Shift and 2JZ-GTE swap

I posted in the 2nd Gen GS forum but had no replies hope someone can shed some light. I did a search and had no luck. Not sure if this has been discussed before but does the 2nd Gen GS 300 E-shift work with a 2JZ-GTE swap?

If the car came with e-shift from the factory, then I'm still able to retain the function.
