Default 2JZGTE swap in GS400

Sorry, unfortunately I'm not actually performing the swap yet. But I am debating on keeping the GS4 and putting in a 2JZGTE as long as I can retail 99% of the factory functions or just going NA-T on a 1st gen GS and having both. My question is, if I can get a harness, how straight-forward is the swap in a 2GS4? If I'm spending 4k on a 1st gen GS and turbo (pretty budget), I want to know if I can just go a GTE in my GS4 for the same cost. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Kyle

EDIT: I stumbled across this link. What else do I need if I bought this particular package?

I have a 2001 GS430 in my garage without an engine. Im going to be doing an Aristo VVT-i 2JZGTE swap. From what Ive read, going with a VVT-i is most recommended if you want everything to work. I guess you can say it will be more straight forward. Mating the harness would be no problem in the hands of an experienced professional. Ive gotten quoted $650 to have mine mated. Im paying the extra money on it so that everything becomes plug and play when I do the swap. The only thing you have to worry about is what drivetrain you will be going with.

As for your link about the engine distributor, dont get it. Its way too overpriced. Im getting my motorset from ZEROLIFT. They offer great quality sets at very reasonable prices. They are also a Club Lexus official vendor.

I appreciate the 'peek'... Do you have any input on the swap or just showing a picture?

I did search and came across this thread. Didn't see that there was a wiring diagram. I appreciate your help a ton, but don't assume I didn't search. I try to be as resourceful as possible. Thank you very much for your help.
