As long as you are looking at the ecu correctly go by pin location. You can call Swift and ask them but they are going to tell you the same thing, trust me

Interesting......i'd stick with the pin location as well....rather than go by wire color.

Call SRT and show them pics as well....Im sure they will say the same thing.

Good luck.

Pete

I've installed 5+ srt intakes. I've installed it on all models - GS300/400/430.
ALWAYS GO BY PIN LOCATION NOT WIRE COLOR.

how difficult is it to solder the ecu in, i recieved my SRT on Friday but i am too nervous about messing the factory ecu up. Is there special solder to use? Special Soldering Gun? Etc.

go pick up a soldering kit and practice on an old boombox or something. you don't wanna do your first solder on your beautiful lexus!

I did it! Crossed my fingers and went for it. Haha i thought i messed up because i didn't take the neg. off the battery and tried to start the car, wouldn't start. So i read the directions and it said to take off the neg. so i did and then it started. I love the air intake its the best $450 yet.

Actually I just bought the intake a while back and The diagrams are right it is the wire colors are flipped on the diagrams...Where the older gs wire colors are on the diagram those should be where the new gs wire colors are and the newer gs wire colors should be where the older gs wire colors are. They f'ed up and by the way did SRT go out of business cause it took me almost 3 months for them to ship that intake to me!!
