Powerhouse Racing told me they are working on a turbo kit. It's hard to imagine there will be a lot of demand though, at 11.8:1 static compression, the engine isn't very boost friendly on pump gas.

LMS has a supercharger, not a turbo.

since we're on the subject, what are the big differences between S/C and turbo? more specifically, in terms of the IS?
just wondering cause my friend builds motors and makes custom turbos, etc, but i'm hesitant to get one made until warranty is over.

That's difficult to say since there are very few 2IS' that are supercharged and none that I know of that are turbo'd.

Here's a simple write-up of the difference between supercharging and turbo.

Do any aftermarket turbo or sc companies offer a warranty that works in companion with Lexus?

Seriously, the compression is what is holding back a turbo upgrade. If JE or crower came out with a de-stroker kit, then it would be easier.
