so u want to put an engine from a GS300 into a GS430 if thats the case, you would be better off selling the 430 and gettin a 300 instead and save that headache. if im not mistaken, u have change the engine, transmission and the differential in the back ON TOP of any wiring harnesses that may be involved. u would be spending extra money for nothing. imo... DONT DO IT!!

it wont fit. the two cars uses completely different chassis, suspension, etc. you're better off swapping and engine that's easier to fit in, like the LS460's engine.

of course the swap is doable. outside of the engine, the GS300/430 shares the same chassis, suspension, etc. As to how much it'll cost and how hard it is to integrate the ECU or whatever, I wouldn't know. Thast why I bought a GS400 from the start. Perhaps it'll be better for you to sell the GS300 and buy a GS430.

Like GSteg said, if you really want the V8 power, you should just sell your GS3 and get the GS4. It would be way too much of a headache to swap and you would probably have issues with little quirky things that always seem to rear their ugly head when you do a swap. If you are just looking for more power a turbo kit may be your best bet or even a full 2JZGTE swap.

Does anyone know if there are any shops that specialize in the 2JZGTE swap?
