Default Tuning Gurus-HELP

Maybe someone can help me figure this one out... Everytime I start the car my a/f ratio is right on 14.1-14.9. But when I put the car on load my a/f goes to like 9.0 or 10.0 . I then turn it off and back on and it resets. This only started after I put in 85lb injectors. I am running a resistor to them because they are low inpedance. I was thinking the tps might be causing it so I checked the voltage. It was showing like 1.2 volts in the closed position. I checked my old stock throttle body and it was showing .7 volts. I figured it should be close to .5 volts anyways. Now I haven't retuned it since the change but If anyone has suggestions or input I would greatly appreciate it. And also, I'm not sure that the voltage should be .7 but both tps sensors are the same part number. Note: I am using a piggyback (map-ecu) from performance motor research to adjust fuel. And I'm not using a maf.. Thanks

I don't know exactly how you are tuning, but it sounds like you are changing into a different load cell that is uber rich under higher than idle load. If you think it's a hardware issue, I would take a look at your injector wiring setup and make sure it's correct. You also might want to check that MAP sensor to verify that it's working correctly with smooth transitions while changing pressure. Let us know what you get figured out, now I'm curious. Good luck.

Your right about the load cell. I was driving around and just figured it out with a buddy. We noticed that on idle, the vacuum was like -17-19. We have those cells tuned perfect. When you go on load and hit boost, the map-ecu follows you fine but when you come back to idle it goes into a -5 cell. This cell requires more fuel then the -17 cell while throttling up. So, to make a long story short, the map-ecu thinks the car is in the -5 cell, hence the rich a/f. When it is really in the -17 cell at idle. We have troubleshooted everything and we think its hardware issue, probably an easy fix.(I hope) So tomorrow I will call them and explain. Also, when I shut the car off and back on the map goes back to -17 cell. Do you know if the resistor on the injectors would cause that too??
