Question LMW Supercharger

Hey guys,

I have an 02 IS 300 and was contemplating wether or not to get a LMW supercharger and then see what else i should do or start small. One of the main things that made this desicion hard was the thought that even at the 5psi of boost you get from it, if it would mess up my transmission.

Any thoughts?

If you have automatic, you can get valve body upgraded and put a transmission cooler. Another option would be to get it fully built( valve body, sprag, clutchpacks, cooler ).

If you have manual, W58, R154, V160, or V161 is your choice. However, I don't think you should worry with 5PSI of boost

Quick read before you decide. Yes, different car but same company and related product.

lol dude it doesnt matter how wide your wheels are. your not exactly the brightest one in the world for not tuning your car after you self installed it. note to self: go and get it tuned

y. in the supra world our car can hold up to 8lb on stock. and i still get about 320miles on a full tank. so i dont see the problem with it out it getting tune. and also theres no one in my area that knows how to tune the 2jzge vvti motor. and i dont trust the people at lmw. i talked to them on the phone and they didnt really know what they were talking about

yeah, tuning isnt always necessary with lower boost levels, but glad to hear your reliability is as good as ever
