fuel rails / throttle body cable / idles
Adjusting the throttle body cable will increase rpm's, Mine is set at around 650-700 at idle, with car in park. Of course I don't have the sc but either way It shouldn"t matter. If u remove the tps u most definately will get a cel light .........a no brainer. I personally would of ran the car without installing anything other than the sc, this would make diagnostics a lot easier.

some of the obd2 scanners like the snap-on one will read TPS, so you could adjest it according to that. when i fired mine up with the AEM, we had to set what the TPS was at. you can also always find a stock car and measure the TPS voltage with a meter to find out what it should be. mine on the GS300 was something like .61 volts when totally shut.
as for the throttle cable adjusting the idle, never heard of that before. the IAC controls idle, the more it opens, the higher the idle. with a supercharger, i wouldnt think you would want to open the throttle blade at all to increase the idle.

AEM is a stand alone unit and of course you have to recalibrate the TPS so the computer would know where is the WOT point. IAC is actually built in the motor and control by a magnetic field. When installing a new TPS, you will need a scanner to adjust your TPS to 13% and then lock it down. OBDI system is totally from OBDII( DBW).

sir, thank you. i'm pretty aware of all that, even when i wrote it 4months ago. also, a TPS is a linear scale sensor. if 0v is 100% closed, and 5v is 100% open, what is 13% of 5v??? .65v is the answer. i agree that the best way would be to set it with a scanner, in fact i suggested that as well earlier.
fly out here huh.. how much is that gonna run me lol.. i'm in colorado springs, not denver though.
we're gonna try a few things on saturday.. hopefully it works. who knows
was just seeing if there were any new ideas or inputs that could be taken in. lol

Kharizma,
Have you vistited Texas Yet? If the car will run well enough on the highway, Drive to JPI's shop and let him work his magic. I've checked and I think he's about 700 miles from Denver. This might seem exreme but having someone who knows what they are doing can get it done right. The more you put in it experimenting it will cost you more time and $$ and in 6 more months you'll still be unhappy.
Jason has already done at least one RMM kit that I know of. I think his name was Randy and he used the S-AFC like you and he was happy.
There aren't any shops up here in Denver area that I know of that will take your car from where it is now ( idle, running rich, dampers adjustment, and TPS) and get it right. You need someone that knows Lexus motors and tuning them. the Lexus dealers and Lexus specialty shops I don't think will much from the factory stuff.
I've thought about making a vaction trip to his shop.
Just my $.02

The supercharer isn't your problem. It's the tuning and setting up. I answered all the questions that pertain to your problem. My last advise, find someone that is familiar with your set up.
